ABOUT BOBBY!

Hey, what’s up!
My name is Bobby Cius (SEE-US) and I'm an actor.
My artistic journey started in 5th grade as a dancer where I quickly discovered my love for performance. By the time I made it to high school, one class, Elements of Theatre, changed the course of my life. (Yes, I’m dramatic! It pays the bills...Get it?). That’s where I discovered my love for acting.
My theatrical career started blossoming shortly after graduating from Salem State University where I majored in the Theatre. Before I knew it, I was landing on many Boston equity house stages and checking those boxes at the end of each production. After being cast in shows like Pass Over, Pipeline, and Toni Stone, making my Huntington Theatre debut, and receiving a few award nominations - I left my mark in my hometown and proved to myself that I had something to offer to the larger world.

My move to the big apple, where I plan on expanding my artistic experience on stages and screens, is on the horizon!
Somewhere in the midst of my theatre run, my focus started to shift. Film and tv work started to feel more achievable, so I went on to start developing that part of my career.

Today I sit with a handful of credits on stage and a couple on-set.
To highlight a few: I can be seen co-starring in an episode of HBO’s PAUSE With Sam Jay, I can be heard as a lead character in Def Jam's fictional narrative podcast Here Comes The Break alongside Emmy-nominated Asante Blackk (When They See Us), and finally I’ll be making an appearance in a feature film releasing in theaters soon!

Apart from my work as an actor, I have an affinity for psychology, behavioral analysis, communication and movement. I’m a calisthenics athlete, a former dancer, a roller skater, a meditation practitioner, a movie buff, and an aspiring polyglot.

Needless to say, with my passion for movement and multicultural connection, and my ever-growing interests among various hobbies, I look forward to seeing how my lifestyle will continue to inform and develop my talent. I'm working towards being a phenomenal artist and an even better person. Look out for me, Bobby Cius.
